By day I am a bean counting super hero, so I have a love for ledger paper, mechanical pencils, and even some crazy contraptions you may have never seen in your life! Basically the thing is, that a lot of older and vintage office supplies have amazing lines and mimic the design styles of each era. My Whimsical Christmas Kitchen

Everyone needs a little whimsy and what better time than the holidays and in the kitchen! I have an absolutely tiny vintage galley kitchen, so there isn’t a lot of room to do much, but I always display my Snowman collection. I’ve been collecting vintage ones for many years; many are ceramic, wax, or candles. Some are in great condition, some not so much, but I think they all have a ton of charm. I rarely buy any new ones unless they are reproductions of vintage styles. This year, I bought a vintage three-tiered tin tray to display them in. It’s a little rusticΒ and shabby, but all kitchen. A Trip to Goat Hill Fair

Twice a year a once small antique and vintage show in Santa Cruz County, California is held, now in a much larger venue with a lot more dealers and a lot more great finds. Located on the Central California coast we are unique in that we have both the beach and a rich agricultural community, this evokes the style of California Country and Shabby Chic. Although my personal style leans more toward Hollywood Regency and Palm Beach Chic, this Fall show is especially fun since most of the dealers have festive holiday displays.
